Acton is rural in a way almost nowhere else we serve is. Properties sit on acre-plus parcels with the house set well back, and it is normal to find more than one door on a lot: an attached garage, a detached shop or barn, and often a taller bay for a truck, trailer or horse trailer. Unpaved driveways mean grit gets everywhere, and grit in a roller bearing or a track is the single most common reason an Acton door starts grinding and eventually jumps the rail. The climate is the other factor.
