We cover Canyon Country along the length of Soledad Canyon Road and Sierra Highway, through the tracts off Whites Canyon and Via Princessa, and out into Sand Canyon and the Mint Canyon side. Same-day slots are usually available, and for properties further up the canyons we will give you a realistic arrival window rather than a guess. Diagnosis and estimates are free, and we work 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, seven days a week.
Canyon Country covers more ground and more kinds of property than anywhere else in the Santa Clarita Valley. Along the Soledad corridor the housing is largely 1960s and 1970s tracts, and a lot of those garages are still on their original track and roller sets, worn to the point where the door rattles and eventually walks off line. Up in Sand Canyon and the side canyons the properties sit on acreage, with detached shops, taller doors for trailers and equipment, and long unpaved approaches that put grit into every bearing and track. The climate is harder here than down in the Valley too, with big day-to-night temperature swings and real summer heat, which dries out lubrication faster and shortens the life of both rollers and opener electronics. A yearly clean, lubricate and re-tension is genuinely worth more in Canyon Country than almost anywhere else we work.
We replace springs, cables, rollers, bearings, hinges and bent track, reset off-track doors, repair and replace openers including heavier-duty units for tall or oversized doors, and fit working photo-eye sensors where they are missing. On dusty canyon properties we clean and re-lubricate the whole run so the repair actually holds. Every visit ends with a balance test and a reverse test. Tract house or canyon property, it usually comes down to one of these. Diagnosis is free and the common parts are on the truck:
