We cover El Segundo across the residential grid west of Sepulveda, from the streets off Main and Richmond to Grand Avenue, Mariposa and Imperial, and out to the business and industrial units on the east side. Same-day slots are usually available. Diagnosis and estimates are free, and we work 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, seven days a week.
The residential half of El Segundo is one of the most consistent street grids in the South Bay: modest 1920s to 1950s homes on narrow lots, with a single garage at the rear reached from the alley. Those garages are small, the openings are short and narrow, and headroom above the door is minimal, so a standard overhead opener often does not fit properly and a wall-mounted unit is the better answer. Because so many have been turned into workshops, offices and gyms, we are frequently called to doors that have not been operated in years and have seized on their tracks. East of Sepulveda the city changes entirely into aerospace, office and light-industrial buildings, where we look after sectional and rolling steel doors that cycle constantly. Being a mile from the water, everything here also picks up marine air, so cables and springs are worth inspecting before they surprise you.
We replace springs, cables, rollers, hinges and bent track, free off and re-balance doors that have sat unused, reset off-track doors, and repair or replace openers, including wall-mounted jackshaft units where there is no headroom. On the commercial side we service rolling steel and sectional doors and their operators. Photo-eye safety sensors are fitted where they are missing. Every visit ends with a balance test and a reverse test. Licensed and insured, California license #1149841.
Home garage or business unit, it usually comes down to one of these. Diagnosis is free and the common parts come with us:
