We cover Fillmore across the town, from Central Avenue and the streets around the depot to the neighbourhoods off Ventura Street, Sespe Avenue and Old Telegraph Road, and out along Highway 126 into the groves. We are often able to attend the same day and otherwise book you the next morning with a firm window rather than a vague half-day. Diagnosis and estimates are free, and we work 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, seven days a week.
Fillmore's housing splits between the older small-town homes with detached garages behind them and a substantial amount of newer construction from the mid-1990s onward, which gives us two very different jobs on the same street. The older garages are the familiar story: narrow openings, extension springs without containment cables, and openers added long after the fact with no safety sensors. The newer homes have wide steel double doors that are now old enough for their first spring and roller failures. The practical difference in a smaller town is supply. There is no garage door parts counter around the corner here, so a technician who turns up without the right spring size or a matching bottom bracket costs you another day. We load for the likely job before we set off and carry a wide range of spring sizes, so most Fillmore calls are finished in one visit.
We replace springs, cables, rollers, hinges and bent track, fit containment cables, free off and re-hang seized doors, reset off-track doors, and repair or replace openers with photo-eye safety sensors fitted where they are missing. If a part genuinely has to be ordered we will tell you at the visit rather than after. Every visit ends with a balance test and a reverse test. Licensed and insured, California license #1149841.
Older garage or newer build, it comes down to one of these. Diagnosis is free and the common parts travel with us:
