We cover 91344 and 91326: the older tracts around Chatsworth Street and Devonshire, the blocks either side of Balboa, Zelzah and White Oak, and the newer streets north of Rinaldi up toward Knollwood and the foothills. Granada Hills is a regular stop for our vans, so same-day slots are usually available and we can normally give you a same-day window. Diagnosis and estimates are free, and we work 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, seven days a week.
The southern half of Granada Hills is 1950s and 1960s ranch housing on wide lots under some of the biggest street trees in the Valley, and those trees matter more than people expect. Leaf litter, seed pods and grit collect in the bottom track, the door stops seating properly, and the safety reverse starts triggering on nothing. North of Rinaldi the housing gets newer and larger, with three-car garages, and often two separate doors on one property that have aged at different rates. The ground rises toward the foothills as well, so a lot of driveways slope, which hides an out-of-balance door until the day it will not hold position. If your door drifts down when you stop it halfway, the spring has lost tension and it is worth dealing with before it breaks.
We replace springs, cables, rollers, hinges and bent track, clear and realign bottom tracks, reset off-track doors, service and replace openers, and fit working photo-eye sensors and auto-reverse on older installations. On two and three-door properties we will tell you honestly which doors need work now and which can wait. Every visit ends with a balance test and a reverse test.
