We cover Hollywood from the flats around Franklin, Sunset and Melrose to the hill streets running up Beachwood, Nichols Canyon and Outpost, and across to the buildings along Highland, Vine and Western. It is a short run over the Cahuenga Pass from our North Hollywood base, so same-day slots are usually available. Diagnosis and estimates are free, and we work 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, seven days a week.
Hollywood is denser and older than most of the areas we serve, and a large share of the doors are not single-family garage doors at all. Courtyard apartment buildings from the 1920s and 1930s have a shared garage or a run of small lock-up garages off an alley, and those doors are used by many households, so they cycle constantly and fail on wear rather than age. Newer buildings have one gate or roll-up serving the whole subterranean garage, which means when it jams nobody can get a car in or out, and that becomes urgent immediately. Up on the hillside streets it is different again: garages cut into the slope, tight turning space, doors that were built to fit an odd opening, and openers wedged into low headroom. We work on all of it, and we can bill a building owner, HOA or property manager directly.
We replace springs, cables, rollers, hinges and bent track, reset off-track doors, repair and replace openers including heavier-duty units built for shared and high-cycle doors, and fit working photo-eye safety sensors where they are missing. On a building where residents are locked out we prioritise getting the door operating and secure on the first visit. Every job ends with a balance test and a reverse test.
