We cover Upland from the historic streets along Euclid Avenue and north toward San Antonio Heights, through the neighbourhoods off Foothill, Mountain and Baseline, and down to the tracts near Arrow and Central. We are often able to attend the same day and otherwise book you the next morning. Diagnosis and estimates are free, and we work 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, seven days a week.
Upland sits directly below the mouth of San Antonio Canyon and takes some of the strongest downslope winds anywhere in the region. A garage door is the largest unsupported panel on most houses, and in a serious gust a wide double door will flex noticeably in the middle. That flexing is what pulls hinges, works rollers out of the track and eventually creases a section. The fix is not a stronger opener, it is reinforcement: a properly sized strut across the top section, and often the ones below it, so the panel cannot bow. Many builder-grade doors here were fitted with the minimum a supplier could get away with. Adding struts is inexpensive, takes very little time, and is the single most useful thing you can do for a wide door in this part of the valley. Grit driven in on the same winds is also why tracks and rollers need cleaning more often here.
We fit and upgrade struts on wide doors, straighten or replace creased sections and bent track, replace springs, cables, rollers and hinges, reset off-track doors, clean and re-lubricate grit-loaded tracks, and repair or replace openers. Photo-eye safety sensors are fitted where they are missing. Every visit ends with a balance test and a reverse test. Licensed and insured, California license #1149841.
After a windy week or on an ordinary day, it comes down to one of these. Diagnosis is free and the common parts travel with us:
