We cover 91307 from the tracts off Fallbrook and Platt to the streets climbing toward Valley Circle and the Simi hills, and across to Roscoe, Sherman Way and Vanowen. West Hills is the far western end of our core area but still a straightforward run, so same-day slots are usually available. Diagnosis and estimates are free, and we work 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, seven days a week.
West Hills was built later than most of the Valley, largely in the 1960s and 1970s, on bigger lots with two and three-car garages. That means wide double doors, and wide doors are where spring failures are least forgiving: the whole weight sits on one torsion spring and a break leaves the door completely dead. Plenty of properties here also have a third bay or a taller door for a truck, trailer or RV. Sitting up against the hills, West Hills takes real wind, and we see the results: doors flexed out of shape in a gust, top sections pulled at the hinges, and grit driven into tracks and rollers so they grind and eventually jump. Homes on the higher streets are also worth checking for a battery backup on the opener, because this is an area that loses power in a wind event.
Spring, cable, roller and track replacement, off-track and wind-damaged doors reset or re-sectioned, opener repair and replacement including battery backup units, and photo-eye safety sensors fitted where they are missing. On wide and oversized doors we size the spring to the real weight of the door and check the struts that keep a long panel from bowing. Every visit ends with a balance test and a reverse test. These cover most of what we are called out for in West Hills. Diagnosis is free either way, and the common parts are already on the truck:
