We cover Westwood from the Village and the streets around UCLA to the Wilshire corridor, Little Holmby and Westwood Hills, and out toward Sepulveda and Santa Monica Boulevard. Westwood is really three service areas in one. Along the Wilshire corridor the residential towers each have a single roll-up or gate serving a subterranean garage for dozens of households, and the failure mode there is cycles: springs, drums, bearings and chain wear out on use, and one jam locks in every car in the building. Around campus the picture is the same problem at smaller scale, with apartment buildings whose garage doors run constantly through term and get struck regularly by cars misjudging tight ramps. West and north of the Village, in Little Holmby and Westwood Hills, it turns residential again: 1930s to 1950s houses with narrow original garages, some detached, plenty of them still on hardware that has never been replaced. We work on all three, and we can invoice an HOA or property manager directly.
We replace springs, cables, drums, bearings, rollers, hinges and damaged track, straighten and reset doors that have been struck, repair and replace openers including commercial-duty operators for high-cycle building doors, and fit photo-eye safety sensors where they are missing.
